Delete your MyPromiseKeeper account

You can delete your MyPromiseKeeper account at any time. This page explains how to do it, what data we remove, and what we retain.

Delete from the app

iOS

Open the Profile tab, scroll to the Danger Zone, tap Delete Account, and confirm with your password.

Android

Open the Profile tab, scroll to the Danger Zone, tap Delete Account, and confirm with your password.

Can't access the app?

Email support@mypromisekeeper.app with the subject "Account deletion request" from the email address on your account. We'll process the request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account: email, name, and profile
• All prayers, reflections, and prayer groups you created
• Prayer history, streaks, and personal stats
• Push notification tokens and device identifiers
• Subscription state on our end. Active subscriptions are cancelled through your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play), not by us. Cancel there before deleting your account if you don't want to be charged again.

What we retain

• Audit and billing records that we're legally required to keep, typically for seven years for financial transactions
• Prayers or comments you shared into a group that other members have interacted with may be anonymized rather than removed, so the remaining members keep the context of their conversations

Timeframe

We'll complete deletion within 30 days of receiving your request. In-app deletions are typically processed within 24 hours.
